Starting the EasyRider electric surfboard is built around a dual magnetic kill switch system designed for maximum safety and reliability.
The first step is installing the battery inside the board. Once the battery is properly seated, the first magnetic key is attached to the battery connector. This action powers on the EasyRider. At this moment, the front display lights up and shows the current battery level, allowing the rider to quickly confirm remaining charge.
After powering on, the EasyRider is waiting for synchronization with the second magnetic key. This second key is installed directly into the control handle.
Once the second magnetic key is connected, an audible beep confirms that the system is fully synchronized and ready to operate. At this point, pressing the trigger will activate the turbine and propel the board forward.
This dual magnetic safety system ensures that power is immediately cut if either key is removed, providing an essential layer of protection for every ride. Following this startup sequence guarantees a safe, controlled, and confident EasyRider experience.
Tip: Resynchronizing the EasyRider During Use
During use, especially when riding in a lying position on the board, the magnetic key on the control handle may move frequently. In some cases, this can cause the system to lose synchronization.
If this happens, you may notice the front screen blinking and the battery indicator showing empty, even though the battery is not discharged.
To resynchronize the EasyRider, follow these steps:
-
Remove the magnetic key from the battery.
-
Wait 5 to 10 seconds, allowing the screen to completely turn off.
-
Reattach the magnetic key to the battery.
This reset allows the board to properly resynchronize with the control handle. Once the screen turns back on and displays the correct battery level, the EasyRider is ready to operate again.
This simple step resolves most synchronization issues and ensures smooth, reliable operation during your ride.
